The Pioneer Trail System (PTS) is a network of off-road trails covering Utah. Primarily designed for street-licensed SXS/UTVs, the trails can be driven by almost any OHV vehicle. The routes are not intended to cover every single trail in the state. Instead, they are designed to provide inspiration and example routes to plan your adventures. We love multi-day expeditions and thru-route-style rides. Most routes can be done as loops, as long or short as your time allows. We are always adding new routes to the network – and changing the existing routes. Be sure to stay up to date with us on Facebook.
Trails
We’ve named the various routes to make it easier to refer to them. Our names are informal and playful and usually named after the area or history of the area the trail covers.
